International Women’s Day Lunch hosted by Women’s Property Panel in partnership with Veuve Clicquot
Primetime Marketing had the absolute pleasure of attending Women’s Property Panel’s 5th International Women’s Day (IWD) Luncheon held on Friday 10th March at Mercure Brisbane raising funds for Youngcare.
International Women’s Day celebrates the achievements of women promoting gender equality. This year’s theme is “Be Bold for Change”, a vehicle for change, to help forge a better working world and a gender inclusive world. Are you ready to Be Bold for Change and beyond? Each and everyone one of us can all play a part in improving outcomes for women such as supporting flexible work environments, challenging stereotypes and supporting women’s accomplishments.
Women’s Property Panel brings together an empowering group of women who strive to inspire others to find passion in life, being anything from playing a sport to investing in property. Emma Herbert and Bridget MacGregor founded Women’s Property Panel with their immense passion for property investing. At just 26, Bridget has already accumulated four properties. With over 13 years’ experience in the real estate industry, Emma is totally equipped with knowledge and knowhow to invest in property.
The room was filled with tables of women, men and multiple corporate business who all came to support this worthy event. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon, with an inspirational speech from Libby Trickett. With so many new faces at this year’s lunch, there was no shortage of new introductions, inspiring conversations and that “buzz” of excitement welcoming newbies! It was a truly wonderful afternoon with an auction prompting fierce bidders to outbid one another and generous raffle prizes donated.
Karl Schwantes of Xennox Diamonds kindly donated a $5,000 Xennox Diamonds experience. The lucky winner, James is about to tie the knot and there is no better way to celebrate than with a Xennox Diamonds experience! Congratulations James!
Pampering hair and makeup stations were clearly a hit with the females and yes, a few men too! And we can’t possibly complain about being spoilt with free flowing Veuve Clicquot!
A big shout out to Rachel Hansen and Team Youngcare volunteers who worked tirelessly on the day to sell raffles to support the cause. Youngcare is wholly devoted to helping people out of aged care. They assist countless young Australians with high care needs to live their lives with choice, independence and dignity. Last year, the funds raised helped two young and deserving families aged between 16 and 25 years, to stay in their own homes. To top it off this year, approximately $17,000 was raised, an awesome $5,000 more than last year!
Thank you Emma and Bridget for organising an extraordinary International Women’s Day Luncheon. An unforgettable day!
Pssss…….be sure not to miss 2018 Women’s Property Panel International Women’s Day Lunch. BIG BIG things installed for next year and it’s not to be missed!”
