The Gift of Writing: Montblanc Supports UNICEF

Last night Primetime Marketing attended “The Gift of Writing: Montblanc Supports UNICEF” event at the Montblanc flagship store on Edward Street. It was a wonderful night where professionals had the opportunity to get together to network, enjoy delicate canapés and some of them even walked away with some beautiful accessories.

Upon arrival, guests had the opportunity to express themselves by describing what the precious Gift of Writing meant to them in the Montblanc guest book. Guests also had the chance to get up close and personal with some signature pieces, particularly the UNICEF Inspired Montblanc Pen which truly reflects their support for UNICEF. This unique piece features the very first alphabet in various languages etched on pen’s side and holds a significant meaning in the global state of education.

We had the wonderful opportunity of hearing from the Managing Director of Montblanc, Leon Mervis, who described Montblanc’s inspiring history with UNICEF. “Working together since 2004 through a shared vision of empowering children through education, Montblanc globally has to-date raised more than US$10 million for UNICEF’s work for children. From 2017, through the sale of a special range, Montblanc aims to support UNICEF to improve education and learning for over 5 million children worldwide”.

Montblanc also collaborated with renowned artist David Bromley, who contributed to the evening with a piece that was given away as part of the business card draw. Find out more about David Bromley and the Bromley Room here!

The night continued with more food, beverages and delicious desserts to accompany the networking before the night wrapped up. Special thanks to Michelle Castillo for having us at this wonderful event with such an incredible cause. We look forward to seeing you again next year and we’ll be sure to drop by and say hello the next time we’re walking down Edward Street.
