HKABA 2017 Business Awards Gala Dinner
With guest numbers growing year on year, Hong Kong Australia Business Association Queensland Chapter hosted their annual business awards dinner on Friday, 1st September at Brisbane Hilton. It was a prestigious event celebrating finalists and winners and awarding their successes trading between Australia and Hong Kong SAR and China.
HKABA also welcomed incoming President Raymond Mak who was keen to take the well-established Queensland Chapter forward, continue to identify business opportunities with their influential platform connecting trade and businesses between Hong Kong and Australia. This ensure all members, sponsors and stakeholders can benefit from being a part of the HKABA family.
With only 150 raffle tickets to purchase and all snapped up, some of the amazing prizes were donated by Porsche Centre Brisbane, a piece of classic realism painting by acclaimed artist Anna Rubin who exhibited at the Asia Contemporary Art Show in Hong Kong this year, and premium menswear retailer Mitchell Ogilvie giving away a made to measure suit worth over $2000. Redtie kept the music flowing with the latest top hits and guests were left in awe by an eye captivating aerial performance by Ashton Entertainment.
